My first MoFo!

This is my first time participating in Vegan MoFo (Month of Food). For those who don’t know, MoFo is an annual month-long vegan food blogging event organized by the awesome community behind the Post Punk Kitchen. I recently moved and realized I have an acquired a ridiculous amount of cookbooks, so I thought a good theme would be to use a different one every day. Here are the cookbooks currently in my collection. Don’t fear, if I get through all 24 of them, there are still plenty of books I want to check out from the library and on my Amazon Wish List.
  • Ani’s Raw Food Essentials
  • Appetite for Reduction
  • Appetizers, Finger Food, Buffets and Parties
  • Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day
  • Artisan Vegan Cheese
  • Chloe’s Kitchen
  • The Conscious Cook
  • Indian Vegan Cooking
  • Raw Food Cleanse
  • The Real Food Daily Cookbook
  • Urban Vegan
  • Vegan Brunch
  • The Vegan Cookie Connoisseur
  • Vegan Cookies Invade Your Cookie Jar
  • Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World
  • Vegan Pie in the Sky
  • Vegan Planet
  • The Vegan Slow Cooker
  • Vegan with a Vengeance
  • Veganize This!
  • Veganomicon
  • Vegetarian Times Fast and Easy
  • Whole Food Recipes
  • You Won’t Believe It’s Vegan
I'm fairly certain I'll have a freezer full of food by September 30, so stop by if you're hungry!

  1. Great idea! I'm in Detroit too, so you might be getting some unsolicited visits from me this month. ;-)

  2. What a good idea for a theme! I have so many underutilized cookbooks in my cupboard. Even my most beloved cookbooks still have many recipes that I've never made, and of course, there are even more cookbooks that I've only used once or twice. I can't wait to hear about your discoveries!

Oh, and I love the added cat pic at the bottom! Every blog post is made better with a cat picture! :-)
